dirty looks

Soho’s newest independent Baselight grading theatre.

Tom Balkwill set up Dirty Looks in 2010 as a space for indie filmmakers to fulfil their creative ambitions. Specialising in colour grading and mastering of independent British feature films, Dirty Looks has also collaborated with directors of music videos, documentaries, commercials, broadcast long form, short films and fashion promos.

After working for FilmLight (Baselight) for over four years, Tom built up a wealth of experience in specialist technologies, travelling around the world working alongside production and post production studios. Only the best equipment has been chosen for Dirty Looks, including 2K DCI projection by Christie, Sony HD monitoring, conform, grading and mastering on Baselight, along with DCP review and 5.1 Genelec sound. The spacious theatre on Soho Square has a 5m screen, relaxed environment, Truelight certified calibration and can seat over 20 people.

Dirty Looks is pleased to be working in collaboration with established studio One Of Us, offering a full spectrum of visual services under one roof.
